11+ Paper Class

Exclusively for Year 5 11+ candidates, our weekly Sunday Paper Classes are an intensive mock exam session designed to help your child test their knowledge and develop their exam skills and discipline. We expect all Year 5 children to attend as part of their weekly 11+ timetable. Throughout the year, your child will be tested on an alternating basis on both Stage 1 (multiple choice) and Stage 2 (standard / written answer) exams.

In Stage 1, your child will be expected to complete a timed multiple-choice Maths and English paper consisting of 50 questions each. 

Stage 2 examinations include standard Maths and English tests, which consist of 50 questions. Your child will also be required to produce a piece of creative writing, which will be marked out of 25. On these days, your child will take home a sample essay. These essays are merely for inspiration—they should not be copied or shared with any third party.
